You can find both at CCL. Dara Fay (speech-language pathology) works closely with the occupational therapists at Flourish Family Centred Occupational Therapy in our shared clinic space — including a gym space for movement-based sessions.
That means your child can see a speech-language pathologist and an occupational therapist in one location, with the two teams actually talking to each other. When it’s the right fit, joint OT/SLP sessions are possible, and we arrange contracts together whenever we can — so your child’s communication, sensory, regulation, and daily-living goals are supported in a coordinated way instead of in silos.
And it doesn’t stop at OT and SLP. Flourish also has physiotherapy (PT), and through CCL we can set families up with speech therapy assistants, an assistive technology consultant, aides, and behaviour consultants when they’re needed. If your family wants a fuller team around your child, we can help connect the pieces.
Frequently asked questions:
Can my child see the OT and SLP together?
Yes — joint sessions are possible when they suit your child’s goals, and the teams coordinate either way.
Do you have physiotherapy too?
Yes — Flourish offers PT in the same space, so OT, SLP, and PT can all be coordinated.
What other supports can you connect us with?
If families ask, we can set up speech therapy assistants, an assistive technology consultant, aides, and behaviour consultants — so the right people are working together around your child.
Why does co-location matter?
Communication, sensory needs, and regulation are connected. Having these supports in one place means less running around for you and better-aligned support for your child.
Can you set up combined funding or contracts?
Whenever possible, yes — we arrange contracts together and can help you navigate funding for the services your child needs.
